Curated Finds: Lekker

IMG_4328.jpeg

The first store I visited when we moved to the East Coast, was Lekker in Boston. I’ve been shopping there for a few years now, and can say I’ve never left empty-handed. Some of these are pieces I discovered on this past trip, and others are ones I’ve loved in my home for quite some time. Click on any images below for more information, or to purchase them on Lekker’s site. All individual product images belong to Lekker.

Kitchen and Dining

Can you tell that I miss the Ferm Living rippled glass collection? Steven and I have used the carafe and the set of low glasses in our bedroom for a while now, and love that the glasses each have a unique design that helps you determine which is yours. It makes them perfect for entertaining as well. And I love serving anything from champagne to chocolate mouse in the coupes. I do recommend handwashing these pieces and using a textured sponge, paying close attention to the rim. We also have recently started using the Ferm Living hand towels in the kitchen and love the touch of luxury they give to our daily experience.

Home decor

During this trip, I picked up a few sets of the Ferm Living marbled candles. They’re so beautiful, that I almost don’t want to burn them!
I am also currently obsessed with Menu’s collection of Echasse vases and the way they combine smoky gray glass with bold brass accents. And don’t even get me started on the Emma fireplace tools and wood basket by Eldvarm. Perhaps your fireplace is like ours and doesn’t actually burn wood, but there’s no shame in setting up a vignette around the space with decorative tools. I feel like they still add a cozy element to the space. Anyone have any decorative birch lying around?

Furniture

When it comes to furniture, Lekker is one of my favorite stores to learn about brands. They have taught me to love Ferm Living, Blu Dot and Muuto to name a few. Not to mention they also carry some iconic pieces such as the Pacha chair and the Noguchi coffee table. The Ferm Living velvety poufs are just as sturdy and quality as they are beautiful, and Steven and I cannot wait to start using the Blu Dot Mate lounge chair that we recently ordered.
