Hey there! My name is Sydney. Thank you so much for visiting my lifestyle blog.
Sydney-yaeko.com was first launched in 2016, while I was living in San Francisco. In the ten years I spent there, the city gave me experiences I’ll never forget: I was a vintage lingerie sales associate at the former Haight Street boutique Dollhouse Bettie, a Marketing Intern for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and 7x7 Magazine, an event planner for Cambria Quartz, and a writer and curator for Chairish. These experiences in my professional life - combined with my personal love of food, travel, and subculture - informed the interests represented on my blog: Design, arts and culture, entertainment, and a curated lifestyle.
As of early 2021, I live in Fairfield County Connecticut with my fiancé Steven and our Morkie puppy, Giuseppe. While my location has changed by about 3000 miles, the focuses of my blog remain the same. I miss San Francisco dearly - and will never stop identifying with the formative experience it gave me - but I am also loving the East Coast, and all of the new adventures I’ve been able to experience in Fairfield County and NYC.
