If you're anything like me, your closets, drawers and cabinets could use a little TLC. I personally am really good at finding room for items in hidden compartments of my home to create a minimalistic and neat feeling. However, what I struggle with is keeping the items in those compartments organized and separate from each other. For months, I've been unhappy with the my home's natural lack of space efficiency. But then one day, while watching lifestyle videos on YouTube, I came across a channel that changed the way I looked at my space.

Alejandra Costello is a professional organizer, who after some stressful life events decided to take control of her home and life altogether, and create an ultra organized and maintained home that would make her always feel like she was in the driver's seat, instead of letting clutter or the state of her home be the thing dictating her life.

She has since launched one of the most popular home organization channels on YouTube, been featured in publications such as The Wall Street Journal and been given the title of having one of the most organized homes in America by HGTV.

She now teaches organization to clients all over the country, in person as well as through her website Alejandra.tv. She has created free online courses that can really help the average person. In fact, I'm starting to take her online course right now! And her storage tips and supplies range from luxury high-quality equipment to dollar store finds, to fit everyone's needs.

I was so inspired by her videos, that I actually visited The Container Store yesterday and made enormous changes to my closet and drawers. If you'd like to see what got me legitimately excited to start reorganizing my home, look no further than the video below where Alejandra gives us a tour of her immaculate home and the tactics she uses to make her life easier. While not everyone can maintain a home quite like a professional organizer, the main thing is that you'll find several tips you'll want to incorporate into your own life.
